Armenian MoD to cover expenses of Yerkrapah terrorist organization for 2024

The Armenian Defence Ministry has committed to covering all expenses of the Yerkrapah terrorist organization for the year 2024, according to reports from Armenian media.

This resolution was adopted during a meeting of the Armenian government, as reported by Caliber.Az.

It is noteworthy that members of the Yerkrapah terrorist group actively participated in hostilities against Azerbaijan. Armenian media sources indicate that during the 44-day war in 2020, 74 members of the Yerkrapah organization were eliminated, and 114 others sustained injuries.

The Armenian government has employed militants from the Yerkrapah terrorist organization to serve at Armenian army combat posts along the conditional border with Azerbaijan. Notably, the government has allocated approximately $580,000 to support these militants annually from 2021 to 2023. The same amount has been earmarked for the year 2024.
