Azerbaijan's State Tourism Agency aims for 4 million tourists by 2026

The State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan has set an ambitious goal to attract 4 million international tourists by 2026.

Fuad Nagiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, announced this target at the second investment forum, "SEA BREEZE INVESTMENT FORUM," which focused on opportunities for corporate and private investment in Azerbaijan's real estate sector, Trend reports.

Nagiyev outlined the agency's primary objectives, which include increasing the tourism sector's contribution to the country's GDP. He also highlighted plans to boost domestic tourism, aiming for 6 million domestic tourists by 2026. The agency's strategy reflects a concerted effort to enhance Azerbaijan's appeal as a top travel destination.
