Azerbaijan partners with Chinese telecom giant for smart technology integration
Azerbaijan Investment Holding has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies Co., Ltd., a prominent Chinese telecommunications company, to foster cooperation in introducing smart technologies.
The signing ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov, Azerbaijan Investment Holding CEO Ruslan Alikhanov, and FiberHome CEO Hai Lan, Caliber.Az reports citing the Ministry of Economy's press release.
The collaboration aims to leverage advanced telecommunication technologies to enhance Azerbaijan's digital infrastructure.
During the event, key insights were shared regarding the National Priorities of Socio-Economic Development of Azerbaijan leading up to 2030. The participants emphasized that the initiative seeks to transform Azerbaijan into a hub of modern technologies. The country has already established successful partnerships with leading global companies, implementing significant projects focused on smart technology applications.
The MoU is expected to strengthen collaboration in smart infrastructures, innovative mechanisms, and information technologies while promoting business partnerships between Azerbaijan and China. Additionally, it aims to facilitate the adoption of advanced business practices among the portfolio companies of Azerbaijan Investment Holding.
