Kazakh President offers his country as platform for Baku-Yerevan peace talks
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has affirmed his country’s readiness to serve as a platform for peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
President Tokayev voiced hope for the establishment of a lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia as he addressed the Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Shusha, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
He emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to facilitating dialogue and creating opportunities for constructive discussions aimed at resolving the longstanding conflict.
In his address, Tokayev highlighted the importance of finding common ground and achieving a sustainable resolution to the differences between Baku and Yerevan. He offered Kazakhstan’s support in hosting future peace talks and fostering a conducive environment for negotiations.
