Deputy FM: Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan foster mutually beneficial cooperation
Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev has said that there is significant potential for expanding economic ties between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
Rzayev made this statement at an event in Baku marking the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
"There is great potential for enhancing economic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. In this regard, I would like to particularly highlight the work of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation. Existing opportunities for collaboration in humanitarian, cultural, scientific, and educational fields will help our peoples better understand each other and intensify our relationship," he stated.
The deputy minister also expressed confidence that the partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan will continue growing and expanding.
