Azerbaijan invites Saudi leaders to attend major urban development forum

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, have been invited to attend the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku in 2026.

Official invitation letters on behalf of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev were delivered on July 29 to Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Bin Abdulkarim al-Khereiji by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Shahin Abdullayev, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

During the meeting, the sides also discussed bilateral relations, ways to strengthen cooperation in all areas, and other issues of mutual interest.
