Iran’s FM: Pezeshkian-Aliyev talks herald new era in Tehran-Baku ties

The latest phone conversation between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has opened a new chapter in relations between the two countries, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated.

He highly praised the ties between the presidents of Iran and Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Earlier, Pezeshkian said that Azerbaijan assisted Iran during its most difficult days. Aliyev thanked Pezeshkian for his kind and sincere words and stressed that Azerbaijan stands with the brotherly Iranian people.
