Azerbaijani MFA spokesperson meets Iranian ambassador to discuss media cooperation

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Aykhan Hajizada, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou.

The meeting focused on avenues for developing cooperation between the two countries in the media sphere, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Hajizada positively assessed the expansion of contacts between the spokespersons of the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Iran and noted Baku’s interest in strengthening friendly ties with Tehran.

The sides also discussed the exchange of media delegations and the expansion of cooperation between the state news agencies of the two countries.
