Turkish VP, Azerbaijani envoy review Ankara-Yerevan normalisation

Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz discussed the South Caucasus peace process and the normalisation of relations between Türkiye and Armenia with Azerbaijan’s new ambassador to Ankara, Rashad Aslanov.

Sharing the details in a post on X, he said the sides focused on cooperation in the fields of economy, energy and connectivity, Caliber.Az reports.

“With Rashad Aslanov, who has recently taken up his duties as Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Ankara, we discussed our brotherly relations, cooperation in the fields of economy, energy and connectivity, as well as the Azerbaijani-Armenian peace process and the normalisation of relations between Türkiye and Armenia,” the vice president noted.
