Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye to hold joint military exercises PHOTO / VIDEO
Joint military exercises, Power of Unity – 2026, involving servicemen from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye will be held in Azerbaijan.
According to the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, the three-stage exercises will take place at the Qızılqaya training centre in the Karabakh economic region, the Qarabağlar training centre in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and in the area of Böyük Zirə in Azerbaijan's territorial waters of the Caspian Sea.
The exercises will involve personnel, military equipment, naval and aviation assets, and unmanned aerial vehicles. The drills are aimed at increasing readiness to conduct joint operations, improving troop coordination and standardising training procedures, as well as enhancing the combat capabilities of units.
Turkish Armed Forces personnel and aircraft have already arrived in Azerbaijan to take part in the exercises. In accordance with the approved plan, measures have been taken to accommodate the personnel and address other organisational matters.
