Azerbaijan’s envoy-designate presents credentials to Sweden's MFA

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador-Designate to Sweden Elnur Sultanov has presented copies of his Letters of Credence to Cecilia Ruthström-Ruin, Chief of Protocol at Sweden’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Today, I presented copies of my Letters of Credence to Ambassador Cecilia Ruthström-Ruin, Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden,” Sultanov wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports.

Sultanov was appointed Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Sweden in August 2026. Before his new appointment, he served as Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Latvia.
