Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General hosts Turkish delegation To strengthen judicial ties
Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev has welcomed a delegation led by General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal of Türkiye Muhsin Şentürk, who is on a working visit to the country.
During the meeting, Aliyev emphasized that the strategic vision of Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye has significantly advanced interstate relations across various sectors, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
He praised the collaborative efforts that have bolstered ties between the two nations.
Şentürk acknowledged the deep connections between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in multiple domains. He congratulated Azerbaijan on the successful hosting of the 29th Annual Conference and General Meeting of International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) in Baku, highlighting the event's importance in fostering international legal dialogue.
Additionally, Şentürk commended the establishment of Garabagh University in Khankandi, viewing it as a pivotal development that will enhance higher education in the region. He expressed confidence that the university will emerge as one of the leading educational institutions in Azerbaijan.
The Turkish delegation also took the opportunity to tour the history museum and the call centre of the General Prosecutor's Office, further solidifying the institutional bonds between the two countries.
