Turkic states hold second round of political consultations in Ankara Strengthening regional cooperation
The second round of political consultations among the deputy foreign ministers of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) took place in a multilateral format as Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has met with deputy foreign ministers of OTS member countries.
The meeting was held in the Turkish capital Ankara, the Foreign Ministry said, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
This comes after the OTS celebrated its 15th anniversary on October 3.
Founded in 2009, the organization includes Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan as full members, while Hungary, Turkmenistan, and Northern Cyprus are observers.
The OTS aims to promote trade, political, cultural, and security cooperation among Turkic-speaking nations.
