Azerbaijan determines order of using Shusha city's name

The order of using the name of the city of Shusha was determined.

According to APA, the law "On the cultural capital of Azerbaijan - the city of Shusha" was approved by President Ilham Aliyev today.

Under the law, with the exception of cases determined by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority, the word "Shusha" (the phrase "Shusha") may be used only by the body determined by the relevant executive authority with the consent of the institution in the following cases:

- in the names of legal entities, including the media;

- in the names of awards and prizes;

- in the names of local, national, or international events, including sports and other competitions, concerts, festivals, exhibitions, conferences, seminars

- for commercial and advertising purposes;

- in trademarks and geographical indexes.

In connection with these cases, Shusha State Reserve has the exclusive right to use its name and the official name "Shusha".
