Air raid alert issued on Israel-Gaza border

An air raid alert has been declared along the Israel-Gaza border, signaling a potential rocket attack.

The sirens were activated in the area of the border settlement of Nirim, Caliber.Az reports via the Israel Defence Forces.

This is the first air raid warning in the border region with the Palestinian enclave in the past 24 hours. The last such alert was issued on August 15 near the Kerem Shalom area, close to the Gaza and Egypt borders.

The alert was later confirmed to be a false one.
