Azerbaijan's defence officials meet international counterparts during IDEF 2025 PHOTO

Azerbaijan's defence delegation held a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the IDEF 2025 exhibition that is currently taking place in Istanbul.

According to information released by the defence ministry and cited by Caliber.Az, Azerbaijan's Minister for the Defence Industry, Vugar Mustafayev has been welcomed by the Chairman of Türkiye’s Defence Industry Committee, Haluk Görgün.

The exhibition also offered the opportunity to exchange views with officials from other countries, which led to meetings with the Minister of Defence of Malaysia, Dato Seri Mohamad Khaled Nordin and the Director of Uzbekistan’s Defence Industry Agency, Mansurjon Ibodullaev.

Another member of Azerbaijan's delegation, Deputy Defence Industry Minister Hidayat Azimov at down with his Kyrgyz counterpart, Azizbek Baybalayev.

The primary agenda of these meetings was identifying avenues to deepen military-technical ties between Azerbaijan and the respective countries.
