Al Jazeera: IDF strikes refugee centers in Jabaliya

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) strikes refugee centres and residential buildings in the town of Jabaliya in the north of the Gaza Strip.

According to him, Israeli forces are advancing in the eastern neighbourhoods of Jabaliya. Other details are not given yet, TASS reports, citing the Qatari TV channel Al Jazeera.

Earlier in the briefing, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said that the Israeli military launched an operation to counter the return of radicals of the Palestinian Hamas movement to the city of Jabaliya. Attempts by Hamas to restore its military capabilities in Jabaliya were detected, he said.
