Armenian premier issues ultimatum to ambassadors Comply with new policy or resign
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has delivered a stark ultimatum to the country’s ambassadors.
At the annual meeting of Armenia’s diplomatic representatives in Dilijan, Pashinyan warned of impending "non-standard solutions" in foreign policy and urged those unwilling to adhere to his directives to resign from their posts, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
During the meeting, Pashinyan outlined his vision for Armenia’s response to anticipated geopolitical shifts and challenges, stressing the need for flexibility and adherence to new policy directions. He emphasized that the coming period will demand unconventional approaches and unwavering loyalty to the government’s stance.
Ambassadors were given a clear choice: accept the forthcoming policy changes and implement them effectively or submit their resignation.
The report suggests that there may soon be changes within Armenia’s diplomatic corps, either through forced replacements or voluntary resignations, due to this ultimatum.
