Azerbaijan grows non-oil exports by nearly 9% to $3.6 billion
Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports reached $3.6 billion in 2025, marking an 8.5% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Food exports rose by 18.4% year-on-year to $1.2 billion, according to data from the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) published in the January edition of the Export Review, Caliber.Az reports.
Over 2025, exports of sugar increased by 57.4%, fruits and vegetables by 27.4%, aluminium and aluminium products by 24.2%, cotton yarn by 19.3%, chemical industry products by 8%, and animal fats and oils by 2%.
Exports of agricultural products grew by 26.7% to $1 billion, while exports of agro-industrial products declined by 0.4% to $314.7 million.
Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 18.9% to $1.3 billion.
