Azerbaijan imports products worth over $4 billion in 2022

The total value of products imported to Azerbaijan from January to April 2022 increased by 15 per cent year-on-year and amounted to $4.1 billion.

The share of food products in the overall import of Azerbaijan for the first 4 months of this year made up 17.3 per cent, Caliber.Az quotes the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of Azerbaijan as saying.

Machines, mechanisms, electrical appliances, equipment, and spare parts have made up the main portion of the imported goods.

The share of technological products of various categories and their auxiliary equipment in the country’s total imports for 4 months amounted to 25 per cent.
