Azerbaijan lists sportsmen to join European Taekwondo Championships

Manchester will host the European Taekwondo Championships on May 19-22.

Azerbaijan has confirmed 18 athletes for the championship, azerisport.com reports.

They are Sayyad Dadashov (54 kg), Parviz Isgandarov (58 kg), Gasim Mahammadov (63 kg), Javad Aghayev (68 kg), Eltaj Gafarov (74 kg), Taleh Suleymanov (80 kg), Milad Kharchegani 87 kg, Radik Isayev (+87 kg), as well as Minaya Akbarova (46 kg), Patimat Abakarova (49 kg), Roya Hajiyeva (53 kg), Fatima Majidova (57 kg) and Farida Azizova (67 kg).

Parataekwondo athletes Royala Fataliyeva (47 kg), Sabir Zeynalov (58 kg), Sadig Hamidov (63 kg), Imameddin Khalilov (70 kg) and Abulfaz Abuzarli (80 kg) will also compete in the championship.

Azerbaijan will also be represented by referees Kwang-Cheol Oh and Ramal Jamalov.
