Azerbaijan restoring TV, radio broadcasting in Khankandi
Azerbaijan is restoring the broadcasting of its local television and radio channels in Khankandi.
The issue of broadcasting in Azerbaijan's Garabagh region was reviewed to meet the request for radio and television broadcasting, which was voiced at the meeting with representatives of Garabagh Armenians in Yevlakh city on September 29, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport told APA.
Seven Azerbaijani radio programmes and nine TV programmes, as well as FM radio on 101.1, 103 ,5 and 97.7 MHz frequencies, are broadcast in the Armenian and Russian languages to convey Azerbaijan’s appeals to the residents of Armenian origin as a result of radio monitoring carried out through the Shusha radio and TV broadcasting station in many districts of the Garabagh region, including Khankandi.
Additional measures will be taken to further expand the quality and coverage of radio and TV broadcasting in the Garabagh region.
