Shusha Media Forum attendees tour Aghdam's Khidirli village

Participants of the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum visited the village of Khidirli in the Aghdam district, where large-scale restoration and construction works are ongoing.

The guests were informed about the infrastructure projects completed during the first phase of the village’s restoration, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

These projects included a multifunctional administrative building, a community club-center, a medical point, an emergency medical service unit, a utility service facility, a workshop, a guesthouse for temporary accommodation of education and healthcare specialists, as well as a full secondary school and a nursery-kindergarten.

The opening ceremony of the first phase of Khidirli took place on July 3 with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.

The 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum opened on July 19 under the theme “Digital Transitions: Strengthening Information and Media Resilience in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” and will continue through July 21.
