Azerbaijan’s "ASAN xidmət" model to be promoted in UN member states
Azerbaijan's "ASAN xidmət" model, which has revolutionized public service delivery, is set to be promoted in UN member states across four continents.
This follows the recent signing of a Contribution Agreement between the Government of Azerbaijan and the United Nations, Caliber.Az reports.
The document, signed by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations, and Li Junhua, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, aims to apply innovative solutions and enhance the capacity for public service delivery in member states, based on the ASAN Xidmət model.
The agreement signifies the UN's recognition of ASAN xidmət as an exemplary public service model and an international brand that originated in Azerbaijan. The initiative will facilitate the application of ASAN xidmət’s successful approach to streamline government services in participating countries.
As part of the collaboration, training programs will be organized for civil servants from various nations to improve their management skills and the delivery of public services. The program will also include the development of training materials and the organization of international events across continents to share knowledge and best practices in public service provision.
