Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan discuss cooperation in mechanical engineering

Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Samad Bashirli has met with Chairman of the Board of the State Company of Uzbekistan "Uzavtosanoat" Shavkat Umurzakov and Vice President of General Motors International Johnny Saldanha.

At the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Economy informed about the development of the Azerbaijani-Uzbek partnership and trade and economic ties, Report was told in the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.

It was noted that trade turnover between the countries is growing and cooperation in the field of mutual investments is expanding.

Uzbek companies are invited to actively participate in business projects implemented in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

The parties discussed the development of cooperation in mechanical engineering, including the expansion of joint exports to the markets of other countries.
