Russian construction firms to embark on business mission to Azerbaijan
Russian construction companies are set to visit Azerbaijan as part of a business mission, according to the Russian Export Centre (REC).
Supported by the REC, around 20 Russian manufacturers will travel to Baku on October 3-4 to discuss potential cooperation and joint projects with Azerbaijani partners, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
During the two-day event, companies from various regions of Russia will showcase modern construction materials, equipment, and innovative solutions for building and design.
Among the Azerbaijani participants are importers of construction products, developers, and architectural firms. The business programme will also involve representatives from the Russian Embassy, trade missions, and development institutes from both Russia and Azerbaijan.
Notably, the Russian Export Center (REC) is a state-owned development institute founded by the government to promote the growth of the non-commodity export sector. It provides a variety of financial and non-financial support mechanisms to assist Russian exporters in accessing international markets and enhancing their capacity for global trade.
Additionally, REC serves as a central point for coordinating with domestic ministries and agencies, working closely with key industries and business leaders in Russia to improve export conditions and overcome trade barriers.
