Azerbaijan and the United States are exploring new opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation in a range of strategic sectors, including trade, energy, investment, and transport, according to Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov.
Following a meeting with Amy Carlon, Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Baku, Jabbarov said on X that the two sides had a “productive exchange” on how to expand joint initiatives that align with mutual interests and contribute to broader regional development, Caliber.Az reports.
“There are significant prospects for expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States across trade, energy, investment, transport-transit, industry, and other sectors,” Jabbarov stated.
“During our meeting with Amy Carlon, we explored ways to realise this potential through joint initiatives and underscored the importance of projects pursued in our shared interests to advance regional development,” he added.
