Dozens injured after drones strike college buildings in occupied Luhansk PHOTO / VIDEO
Ukrainian drones struck a college complex in the occupied part of Ukraine’s Luhansk region, causing casualties and leaving multiple people trapped under debris, according to reports by ASTRA.
The attack targeted both an academic building and a dormitory of the Starobilsk Vocational College of the Pedagogical University, located in the Luhansk region. At the time of the strike, a total of 86 students aged between 14 and 18 were present inside the buildings.
Initial reports indicate that 35 people sustained injuries of varying severity and are currently receiving medical treatment. At least one person was killed in the attack. Emergency responders also managed to rescue three individuals from beneath the rubble.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing at the site, with emergency crews continuing to clear debris. Authorities believe that up to 15 more people may still be trapped under the collapsed structures.
