Azerbaijan may establish D-8 Energy and Climate Center

Azerbaijan has discussed the possibility of establishing a D-8 Energy and Climate Centrer on its territory with the Developing-8 Economic Cooperation Organisation (D-8), Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said.

Writing on X, he noted that the discussions took place during a meeting with D-8 Secretary-General Sohail Mahmood.

The talks focused on prospects for deepening cooperation in the energy sector, as well as the organisation of the first meeting of energy ministers of D-8 member states within the framework of Baku Energy Week.
