Bulgarian president visits Sumgayit Industrial Park in Azerbaijan
President of Bulgaria Iliana Iotova has visited the Sumgayit Industrial Park, which is managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy.
Deputy Minister of Economy Azer Bayramov and Chairman of the Economic Zones Development Agency Sevda Adigozalova briefed the guest on the park’s modern infrastructure, ongoing projects, and production activities, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
They highlighted that the industrial park offers a favourable business and investment environment, supported by full infrastructure as well as tax, customs, and other state incentives.
They said products manufactured there have strong export potential and are supplied to international markets.
The delegation also visited the resident company Caspian Lubricants LLC, which includes Bulgarian investors among its founders.
The guests were informed about the company’s production process, technologies, capacity, and product range.
Iliana Iotova is in Azerbaijan to participate in the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13).
