UN, Azerbaijan institute sign cooperation memorandum at WUF13

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research and Azerbaijan’s Scientific-Research Institute of Water Management and Melioration have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.

The agreement was concluded on the sidelines of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Under the memorandum, the parties will collaborate on the development and implementation of training programmes.

Capacity-building initiatives and research aimed at establishing a necessary legal framework for more effective policy-making will also be among the priorities.
