Azerbaijan, Wind Europe to sign memorandum

A memorandum of understanding on cooperation (MoU) in the wind energy sector will be signed between the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources of Azerbaijan and the European Wind Energy Association Wind Europe.

The signing, which will take place during the 10th ministerial meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) Advisory Council and the 2nd ministerial meeting of the Advisory Council on Green Energy, will be attended by EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson, who is visiting Azerbaijan, Report says.

A memorandum of understanding on cooperation in renewable energy projects in Azerbaijan will also be signed between the Energy Ministry and Elecnor.
