Baku Stock Exchange, J.P. Morgan explore cooperation opportunities

A delegation from Baku Stock Exchange OJSC (BSE) held a meeting with Arsalan Mahtafar, Head of J.P. Morgan's Development Finance Institution in Baku.

During the meeting, a comprehensive presentation was made on Azerbaijan's economic indicators, the ongoing development of the exchange, its strategic objectives, and the current status of the market, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

The discussions focused on various opportunities for cooperation, particularly in the areas of attracting investors to finance sustainable projects and the introduction of modern technologies to the financial sector.

Additionally, the sides explored the use of financial instruments to help diversify risks, enhancing the stability and resilience of the market. A key point of the discussions was the exchange of international best practices in the Azerbaijani capital market, aimed at fostering greater trust and transparency in the market.
