Azerbaijani chess player Ayan Allahverdiyeva took first place among 18-year-olds ahead of schedule with 9.5 points in 11 games. She won the game of the last round and is currently one and a half points ahead of her competitors.

The other 10 Azerbaijani chess players are not among the prize-winners.
