Notably, the BRICS intergovernmental organisation, which comprises Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, and the UAE, is dedicated to promoting peace, security, and development while fostering economic growth through collaborative efforts. This group aims to provide an alternative to the prevailing influence of Western nations.
The summit in Kazan, taking place from October 22 to 24, will facilitate dialogue and cooperation among member states as they seek to address pressing global challenges and enhance economic partnerships. More than 30 countries are expected to participate, with 24 leaders attending at the head-of-state level.
