Azerbaijani, Russian FMs discuss environmental situation in Karabakh
The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Russia have discussed the environmental situation in Karabakh at a meeting in Moscow.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made the statement at a press conference following a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov on December 5, Report informs.
"We have devoted some time to this topic. We stated that, as you said, representatives of Azerbaijani agencies are working on the ground with the participation of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. As in other cases, all the questions that our Azerbaijani counterparts have about the implementation of the agreements of the trilateral statements are of priority importance for us. Our military is actively engaged in this on the ground," Lavrov said.
Earlier it was reported that specialists of the Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry and AzerGold CJSC visited Khankandi, accompanied by Russian peacekeepers.
