Trump accuses US leader, VP of hating Americans
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has stated that the US Democratic administration harbors no warm feelings for American citizens and pursues a policy aimed at inciting division and hostility.
“Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris is running a campaign of hate. She spent a week comparing her political opponents to the most notorious mass murderers in history. Now, US President Joe Biden is calling our supporters ‘trash,’” Trump remarked, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
“You cannot lead America if you do not love the American people. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have demonstrated that none of them is fit to be the US president,” he added.
On October 28, while speaking at the opening ceremony of a Trump campaign rally in New York, US comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made an unsuccessful joke, referring to Puerto Rico as a “floating garbage island.”
The campaign team of the Republican candidate quickly distanced itself from the comedian's remarks, stating that they do not reflect Trump’s views or those of his campaign.
On October 29, Biden stated that Puerto Ricans are decent and good people, adding that the “only floating garbage” he sees in this country is Trump supporters.
The following day, the US president sought to clarify his statement, posting on X that by "garbage," he was referring to the hate-filled remarks made by the US comedian towards Latinos.
