Azerbaijani, US trade turnover surges by 2.5 times in 2024 As exports skyrocket 16.5-fold

The mutual trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the United States from January to July 2024 amounted to $717.7 million, reflecting a 2.5-fold increase compared to the same period last year.

According to statistical data, Azerbaijani exports to the US during the first seven months of this year surged by 16.5 times, reaching $103.4 million.

Exports accounted for 0.64% of the total trade (compared to 0.03% in January-July 2023), as reported by Caliber.Az, citing the State Customs Committee.

Meanwhile, imports from the US rose by 2.2 times, totaling $614.3 million. The share of imports increased to 5.69%, up from 2.98% during the same period last year.
