bp, co-venturers invest over $2 million in Azerbaijan’s social investment projects
bp and its co-venturers have invested over 2 million dollars in social investment projects in Azerbaijan in 2023.
According to the data, this is $1.4 million or 41.2 per cent less than in 2022.
In 2023, bp and its co-venturers in the bp-operated joint ventures spent more than $2 million in Azerbaijan on social investment projects. During the year, this included 16 ongoing educational projects, four programs in support of local capacity-building and enterprise development and one environmental initiative, the bp-Azerbaijan results of last year's activities says, Report informs.
In addition, in 2023, bp alone spent more than $0.9 million on various social and sponsorship projects in Azerbaijan.
During the year, these projects included 14 ongoing educational initiatives, one program in support of local capacity-building and enterprise development, five environmental initiatives, three projects promoting the country’s cultural heritage and sport, as well as 18 conferences and workshops on various themes.
