Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Office hails significance of Azerbaijan’s hosting COP29
Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has met with Libyan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ali Salem Nasser.
Pashazade informed the ambassador of major projects implemented in the country after full restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as restored religious and cultural monuments, Report informs.
On COP29, Pashazade said that holding the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Azerbaijan will be another important demonstration of sustainable stability and economic development.
The Libyan ambassador underlined that during his visits to Shusha and other territories liberated from occupation, he watched with admiration the large-scale works underway in the areas.
The diplomat noted that he would spare no effort to further strengthen the relations between the two countries and peoples.
