FIFA to allow limited fan attendance at World Cup final press conference

FIFA will allow a limited number of fans to attend the press conference ahead of the World Cup final for the first time, ESPN reports.

The report said the briefing is scheduled to take place on July 17 at the Javits Centre in New York and will feature the head coaches and captains of the finalist teams, FIFA President Gianni Infantino and other special guests whose names will be announced later.

The event is being organized by Fanatics, FIFA's commercial partner.

Adult tickets are priced at $81.54, while children's tickets cost $35.

However, fans attending the event will not be permitted to ask questions during the briefing.
