Ilham Aliyev: All responsibility lies with Armenian military-political leadership UPDATED

On September 13, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Philip Reeker, Chief Adviser of the US State Department on negotiations in the Caucasus.

The meeting discussed large-scale provocations committed on September 13 by the armed forces of Armenia on the border of the two countries in the Kalbajar, Lachin and Zangilan directions, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the official website of the President of Azerbaijan.

The head of our state noted that Azerbaijan has taken retaliatory measures to these provocations of Armenia and all responsibility for the provocations lies with the military-political leadership of Armenia.

During the conversation, the importance of ensuring peace and stability in the region, normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and continuing the peace agenda was emphasized.
