Iran announces date for holding presidential inauguration ceremony
The endorsement ceremony for the presidential decree of Masoud Pezeshkian by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, will take place on July 28 at 10 a.m. local time.
The event will be held at Imam Khomeini's Hussainiya in Tehran, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
This significant ceremony marks the formal endorsement of Pezeshkian as the President-elect of Iran, inaugurating the 14th presidential term. It will be attended by a wide array of dignitaries, including Iranian officials, academic figures from seminaries and universities, representatives from the business community, families of Iranian martyrs, and ambassadors from various countries stationed in Tehran.
The event will be broadcast live on Channel 1 of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIBTV1), the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN), and Iran Radio. For international audiences, the ceremony will also be available on the national TV’s overseas channels.
