Russian official suggests Kyiv might be behind attempted assassination of Trump
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, has raised provocative claims regarding a recent assassination attempt on US presidential candidate Donald Trump.
In a post on his X account, Medvedev speculated about the potential involvement of Kyiv in the attack, Caliber.Az reports.
I wonder what would happen

if it turned out that the failed new Trump shooter Routh, who recruited mercenaries for the Ukrainian army, was himself hired by the neo-nazi regime in Kiev for this assassination attempt?
“I wonder what would happen if it turned out that the failed new Trump shooter Routh, who recruited mercenaries for the Ukrainian army, was himself hired by the neo-nazi regime in Kyiv for this assassination attempt?” Medvedev posted.
His comments suggest a possible connection between the Ukrainian government and the attack on Trump.
On July 13, 2024, Trump was targeted in an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The attack occurred six minutes into his speech when gunfire erupted from an AR-15 rifle, fired from a building outside the secured perimeter. The bullet narrowly missed Trump, grazing his ear, but resulted in serious injuries to two rally attendees and one fatality.
