Kazakh leader calls for stronger law enforcement ties among Turkic states VIDEO
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has called on the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to strengthen cooperation between their law enforcement agencies, Kazinform reports.
“The Organization of Turkic States makes an enormous contribution to strengthening our friendship. Kazakhstan attaches priority importance to deepening comprehensive cooperation with this authoritative organization. The member states of the organization are expanding ties in various areas, including between law enforcement agencies. From this perspective, the meeting of interior ministers is of particular importance,” Tokayev said.
The Kazakh president also conveyed warm greetings to the leaders of OTS member states and called for continued efforts to maintain friendly relations.
The remarks came following the 3rd meeting of the OTS Ministers of Internal Affairs in Astana, which concluded with a decision to hold the next gathering in Türkiye in 2027. The participants also signed a joint declaration.
