Russia reports strikes on tobacco factory, drone depot in Kyiv

Russian forces carried out strikes on a tobacco factory and a warehouse storing Ukrainian military drones in Kyiv, Russia’s Ministry of Defence said.

The ministry released footage it said showed the strike on the tobacco factory, stating that the target had been hit.

According to the ministry, the strike was carried out using a Geran-4 Seeker unmanned aerial vehicle.

The Russian Defence Ministry separately reported that a Ukrainian drone storage facility in Kyiv had also been destroyed in a strike involving a Geran-4 Seeker drone.

Footage released by the ministry purportedly shows the strike on the warehouse, followed by a column of thick smoke rising into the sky.
