EU Parliament set to vote on customs preferences for Armenia
10 September 2026 13:50
The European Parliament is set to vote on September 15 on a proposal to introduce customs preferences for Armenian exports.
The vote could determine whether Armenia receives additional trade advantages in the European market, potentially facilitating access for Armenian goods, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Earlier, the Council of the European Union approved temporary measures aimed at liberalizing trade with Armenia in response to restrictions imposed by Russia.
The proposed measures are part of broader efforts to strengthen trade ties between Armenia and the European Union and provide alternative export opportunities for Armenian businesses.
