Russian air defences repel Ukrainian drone attack in Samara region

Russian air-defence forces are responding to a Ukrainian drone attack in the Samara region, Governor Alexander Fedorishchev said on Friday, September 11.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far.

“The military and mobile fire teams are doing everything possible to protect people and infrastructure,” Fedorishchev wrote on Telegram.

According to the governor, a drone threat has been in effect across the region since 2:00 a.m. local time.
