Drone attack in Russia’s Sochi leaves 28 injured, including two children VIDEO

The number of people injured in an overnight attack involving unmanned boats in Sochi has risen to 28, including two children, the operational headquarters of Russia’s Krasnodar region reports.

“According to updated information, 28 people, including two children, were injured during the attack by unmanned boats on the Sochi waterfront on the night of September 9. All those injured received the necessary medical assistance. Three adults and one child currently remain in hospital,” the regional authorities said.

Earlier reports put the number of injured at eight.

On the evening of September 9, the ASTRA Telegram channel reported that an explosion had occurred on a beach in Sochi near the Chernomorskaya Zharovnya restaurant. Regional officials said a fire broke out on the waterfront as a result of an attack involving unmanned boats.
