Iran's president: Tehran wants peace, not confrontation VIDEO
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has once again emphasized that Tehran does not seek confrontation on the international stage.
"Iran is brimming with beauty. In every corner, friendship abounds. We have always sought to build bridges with nations, not walls," Pezeshkian wrote on X, per Caliber.Az.

"We are advocates of peace, enemies of war, and yet resolute in defending the borders, security, and people of Iran," the president added.
The escalating tensions between Israel and Iran in June 2025, culminating in a 12-day conflict, marked a significant flashpoint in their decades-long rivalry, driven by Iran’s nuclear ambitions, regional proxy conflicts, and Israel’s security concerns. The conflict, which began with Israeli strikes on June 13, and saw U.S. intervention, ended with a fragile U.S.- and Qatar-brokered ceasefire on June 24, led by President Donald Trump.
